A partir de la visite de deux secteurs des fortifications de Bergues, les participants ont pu échanger leurs points de vue et expériences sur différents thèmes tels que : La valorisation de la mémoire des lieux, La gestion de la végétation du rempart, Les techniques de restauration,

La gestion de la végétation arborée en bordure de fortification, La gestion de l’eau,

La création de chemins pédestres en milieu humide.

Visit of the Bergues fortifications

The visit to the two fortified areas in Bergues provided the participants with the opportunity to share their points of view and experiences about various themes such as:

Showcasing the history of these locations,

Managing the rampart plants,

Renovation techniques,

Looking after trees located alongside the fortifications,

Water management,

Creating footpaths in a wet environment.

Bezoek aan de vestingwerken van de stad Bergues

Naar aanleiding van het bezoek aan twee sectoren van de vestingen van Bergues, konden de deelnemers hun standpunten en ervaringen uitwisselen over uiteenlopende thema’s, zoals:

opwaardering van de herinnering van de sites;

beheer van de plantengroei op de walmuren;

restauratietechnieken;

beheer van de boomgroei aan de rand van de vestingen;

waterbeheer;

aanleg van wandelwegen in een vochtige omgeving.
