Planches surélevées

Le terrain étant gorgé d’eau, il a été choisi de construire des jar-dinières permettant d’offrir un milieu plus propice aux légumes, fleurs et autres bonnes herbes.

Ces jardinières ne sont pas hors sol, seules leurs parois sont ma-çonnées en plaque bétonw et habillées d’un tressage de branchage naturel, la terre qui y fût rapportée étant en contact avec le terrain naturel initial.

Raised beds

With the ground being waterlogged, the decision was taken to build planters offe-ring a more welcoming environment for vegetables, flowers and other plants. These planters are not situated above ground-level. The sides of the planters are built from concrete slabs and covered in woven natural branches, the additional soil is in contact with the existing natural ground.

Verhoogde plantbedden

Aangezien de grond vrij drassig is, werd besloten om bloembakken te bouwen voor betere bo-demcondities voor groenten, bloemen en kruiden.

Deze plantenbedden zijn opgebouwd uit betonnen keerwanden, voorzien van een natuurlijk ogende wilgenvlechtwerk aan de buitenzijde.
