THE MOTIVATION TO WORK TOGETHER

On the basis of previous work, carried out within the framework of the “Septentrion” Interreg IIIB project, the partners have come together in an enlarged network to pool knowledge and confirm the validity of experimental actions. Successful networking should reinforce exchange between partners and enable them to share good practice, in particular through the application of similar methods for working groups, but also through shared communications.

Highlighting the expertise and experience of each partner in a variety of different fields (promotion, events management, developing tourism, interpretation and educational tools, accessibility and managing sites and monuments) is a further objective. All actions should be undertaken in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and with a view to underlining the link between heritage and citizenship. “Walls and Gardens” is based on the spirit of collaboration and implementing actions on a collective basis.
